Formed in Fremantle, Western Australia, Our roots in Kombucha brewing go way back to 1995, when our Head brewer Greg, with a passion for health and wellness, put down his first brew in his home kitchen in Fremantle, WA. Over the ensuing years, he continued to serve markets, friends & family.
Since 2014, Hippie Kombucha is now a leading Perth producer that focuses on delivering clean, fresh flavours, in a more sustainable way. Brewed to traditional methods borrowed from the winemaking style of pét nat, no forced carbonation, or 'assisted' second ferment, our brews will finish their journey in bottle, resulting in natural carbonation and live flavour profiles, aligned to seasons rather than spreadsheets.
Our Philosophy from day one, has been our intention to not only serve seasoned Kombucha drinkers, but to reach the wider community, by producing a nutritious and authentic Kombucha that tastes great and looks amazing. We continue to live by our philosophy with a very unique and proprietary brewing process that is key to producing a world class Kombucha, brewed right here in Western Australia.
