April 2017 Market
2nd April 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
58 Duncraig Rd, Applecross
Recently featured on The Weekly Review as one of the 17 best makers markets in Australia, and the only one named from Perth ( http://www.theweeklyreview.com.au/live/17-of-the-best-makers-markets-in-australia/ ), Perth Makers Market is back on April 2nd with 150+ stalls!
The upcoming event will showcase the wares of over 150 of Perth's most talented artisans, including passionate woodworking artists, creative fashion and accessory designers, talented painters and more.
This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase one of a kind wares for your home or office, or special gifts for a loved one. Come and browse and buy woodwork, glassware, toys, clothing, terrariums, art, sculptures and many more beautiful items, which may not be available elsewhere.
After meeting the friendly stallholders and perusing their wares, you can enjoy a delicious BBQ, while the kids have fun in the amazing pirate-ship playground. There's also a great selection of interactive kids activities on offer, including the always popular face painting, balloon twisting and story time. There will also be sand card art to help get the kids into the creative spirit of the market and fabulous henna tattoos, which are always a hit with teens.
You can bring your own gourmet picnic basket along, but you'll also find an amazing range of food stalls serving up delicious sweet and savoury treats. As you tuck into your snack or lunch, there will be great live music to enjoy as well. If you're after a more refined dining experience, head to Blue Water Grill for breakfast or lunch.
You can conclude your visit by exploring the on-site Museum and Gallery or enjoying the Artist Studios Open Day, where you can meet talented local artists and browse and purchase their works.
Perth Makers Market has something for everyone and is a market not to be missed!
