Ruby On Wheels

Ruby On Wheels is the only coffee van in Perth staffed by people with disability.

The van underwent a major facelift in late 2019 to make it disability accessible. The renovations included a side serving window, insulation & lining, hand rails, steps, seating and lighting.

The van continues the work of Our Ruby Girl Cafe in Como, by employing and upskilling our staff with disability in order to improve their social and emotional wellbeing and increase their opportunities to be engaged in meaningful work.

It is now happily pottering around Perth, visiting markets and schools for sports carnivals, attending community events and supporting the Red’s Hockey Club for the 2020 winter season.
