The Artist Nook

A creative space like no other; housing over 40 local handmade artists as well as providing boutique workshops. The Artist's Nook is located in Guildford and is such an inviting and warm place that you will never want to leave!

The Artist Nook was founded by the lovely Katherine Ferguson and Nicola Cowie mid 2017 starting out as a small shop in a beautiful courtyard in Guildford. As the business grew, with many people loving the relaxed and inclusive vibe of the shop, The Artist Nook had to expand their premises…luckily a larger space opened up next door so that The Artist Nook could continue welcoming loyal customers to the sweetest courtyard in Perth.

C+Co. Perth

An oasis of artisan products where supporting local never felt so good! C + Co Perth loves to celebrate local, handmade goodness. You can find their store at Westfield Carousel, next to Endota Spa. You can also shop online!

Claire of Claire Tincey Designs started C+Co. Perth after she wanted to open up a shop for her watercolour artwork at the Fremantle Markets, however, didn’t want the store to feature her artwork alone. C+Co’s first store at the market featured 7 local creatives, it has now expanded to a space in one of Perth’s busiest shopping centres showcasing a range of products from over 50 local brands and artists.

Café Collective

It is easy to lose yourself amongst all of the gorgeous locally crafted homewares, beauty products, artwork and more at Cafe Collective WA. This little haven is located at Whitford City Shopping Centre. They also recently opened a pop-up shop in Garden City!

The concept of Café Collective started from a vision to transform a blank wall in a café from a dead space into a retail space that only showcased the products of WA creatives. Heidi McGrath is the lovely face behind Café Collective WA and is an artisan herself designing and creating fashion jewellery under the label Spice Lily.

Perth Happenings

The event listing website which is so much more...Perth Happenings is the place to go to find out ‘What’s On’ in Perth in terms of activities that actually support locals, bring local people together and celebrate Western Australia!

Pieta Sharpe, driven by her passion for the community, started Perth Happenings to support the small local businesses and events that were less likely to afford large scale exposure. While many large-scale event websites and social profiles were present, there was a gap for online spaces that valued smaller, local community events. This is where Perth Happenings made its mark and has been growing ever since!
