Pebble Beach Prints
Pebble Beach Prints is a small business I started on the Ningaloo Coast 9 years ago. I am a textile artist who hand dyes, and screen prints original designs onto tea-towels, table runners, cushion covers, aprons, sarongs, bags, gift paper and a small amount of clothing. I use natural fabrics: linen, cotton, bamboo, silk, and am committed to sustainable eco friendly work practices using water soluble inks and dyes and no plastic packaging (unless re-using). My designs are inspired by Western Australian bush and beach themes and my life experiences from living in the North West for the past 20 years; each one has a story to tell, from swimming with whale sharks, to walking with emus across the Western Desert, to watching turtle hatchlings burst from their sandy nest and scuttle down to the sea. Pebble Beach Prints has relocated permanently to Perth and set up a studio space and shop at 8 Harrison St, Willagee, where I also offer art workshops.
