Neddynibbles
Hi, my name is Karen and I am the face behind Neddynibbles. I live in beautiful, sunny Perth in Western Australia and sew on my 1968 Singer sewing machine passed down to me by my mum who was a dressmaker since the 1950's.
Creating has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have always been sewing, knitting, crocheting, doing paper crafts, polishing rocks etc etc and have always wanted to make a career out of my love of craft, so in 2008 Neddynibbes was born. I decided to create aprons as I found it extremely difficult to purchase pretty aprons in my local shops and have now expanded my range to include sunglass pouches, purses and pouches, plus a few other items when my creative juices start flowing.
I have been selling my creations at craft markets and on-line since Neddynibbles' inception and am really excited to now be running my sewing business full-time giving me the freedom of being able to create every day. I am addicted to purchasing fabric so it is great that I now have the time to get into my huge stash of designer fabrics and sew as often as I like.
As I only purchase fabrics in small quantities, each item I create is unique or only one of a few ever made. Most of my designs are created by me by my "trial and error" style of pattern making, but once the patterns are ready, I ensure that every item I make is made in top-quality fabric, professionally finished and made to last. From feedback I have received over the years, people love their Neddynibbles purses, pouches and aprons.
You can also keep updated on my new designs and find out where you can find me in person by following my Facebook and Instagram pages.
