In late 2015 I decided to take the advice I had been given by my doctor, to start using Art as therapy and that day my Painting adventure began.

Art has always been in my life in some way shape or form but mostly in the form of crafting and quilting, as I had been working in the Quilting Industry for 20 years . Although I had never painted before, I had always felt the desire to learn how to do it.

So with the help of the computer my journey into the world of paint began. Everything I have learnt over the last three years about painting has been entirely self taught, through books, YouTube, searching the Internet and with a lot of trial and error thrown in.

​My art is based on the World of Plants and Animals as nature is so fascinating to me. The colours in Nature are limitless and allow for continuous possibilities in my Paintings, I am inspired everyday by how amazing Mother Nature is.

When it comes to the different art mediums that I use there is absolutely no discrimination, Acrylics, Watercolours, Ink, Texture Pastes, Metallics, Soft Pastels and Airbrushing are just some of the materials that are in regular use in my studio and I love how the mixing of mediums can bring life to my creations.
