Pop Up Scent Lab was started a whopping 20 years ago! Tracey started by running candle making workshops and after having a baby she wanted to create a flexible business that was also mobile!

Having had to suffer through a very traumatic experience with a past employer, Tracey needed to empower herself to create her own business that she was passionate about. Her key goal was flexibility. She noticed that a lot of the scented products workshops available at the time were targeted to people who were interested in starting their own business, not targeted towards anyone who wanted to have fun playing with beautiful and delicious smelling products. None of the workshops were very kid friendly either, so Tracey created the Pop Up Scent Lab - scent experiences for all ages!

The beauty of the Pop Up Scent Lab is that everyone makes their own unique products! Tracey does sell a range of novelty fun bath bombs, soaps and candles that are created in her Hillarys studio.

The Pop Up Scent Lab is a side project that Tracey enjoys. She has two kids and a whole other business to run!
 
As a small business owner, the biggest challenge that Tracey has faced has been finding staff. Tracey employs eight staff members and particularly loves to employ women who have gone through a tough time or women who have struggled to find work that fits into their families and into their lives.

In the future Tracey would love to empower other women to start their own mobile Scent Lab businesses through her licensing system.
