The News is Out!!!

We are very excited to let you all know that we will be hosting 3 Twilight Markets at Yagan Square in the later months of this year!

There will be atmosphere galore!! Handmade in bountiful supply! As well as all that Yagan Square has to offer. Have you been to Yagan Square as yet?

Yagan Square has really bought the city alive and we are delighted to be a part of this gorgeous space coming into the warmer months.

In consideration of the proud Noongar culture the square was named after an infamous Noongar leader and warrior who is well known for his influence within the community. The area at which Yagan Square is now located has a long-standing importance to the Noongar people and we are happy and proud to be a part of its revival as a place for people to come together.

With its grand opening in June, Yagan Square now boasts a plethora of things for all ages. There are water features to look at, as well as play in (some bring a towel)! There are restaurants of many persuasions from Japanese cuisine to honey cakes - one of our stallholders who we love to see doing so well! It's interactive naturally fills the hearts of little ones and those young at heart.
Coming back to the influences from our proud past, you will also see a very impressive statue by Tjyllyungoo/Lance Chadd, Trish Robinson and Stuart Green, as well as many other public artworks and native gardens, green spaces and lookouts that remind us of New York City.

Why a market? Why not!!! With everything Yagan Square has to offer, Perth Makers Market is the perfect complement; a cherry on top as one might say.  As Yagan Square is all about community and Western Australia, what better way to get behind your community than supporting locally handmade!

Get your calendar ready!!

The three dates of our Perth Makers Market Twilight at Yagan Square are:

August 24th
October 5th
November 16th

We look forward to seeing you down there for a slightly different experience to the one at our home of Heathcote Cultural Precinct but with the same great locally made products and friendly people.
